Beyond Genealogy Research
Our services are not limited to genealogy research. We also offer experiences that bring you in touch with Japanese history and roots. We can assist with heritage travels to Japan, arranging and interpreting meetings with relatives living in Japan, providing English historical guides to the places of ancestors, and visiting and interpreting at temples and shrines.
We invite you not only to “know" the Japanese roots, but also to “experience “ them.
Types of Our Roots Experience
Heritage Travel
We provide a local guide for heritage travel to Japan. We can also list local specialties and recommend spots. Our recommendations can be tailored to your needs.
Historical Site Tours
We will guide you to historical sites. Accompanied by staff with curatorial qualifications and expertise, the guide will explain in English while visiting local sites. By visiting Japanese historical sites, you will gain a deeper understanding and experience of Japanese culture and history.
Meeting Relatives in Japan
We help you meet your relatives identified through genealogical research. We provide a wide range of assistance, from arranging appointments with your relatives to interpreting and taking pictures at the meeting. Since many Japanese are not fluent in English, you can leave the planning to us
Temple and Shrine Visits
We assist in visiting ancestral temples and shrines. Many of these religious sites have deep historical roots and unique customs. Our experienced team can guide you through the process to ensure a respectful and meaningful visit. We’ll coordinate with the temple or shrine and provide interpretation services as needed.
